So I need to get my tickets online.... When I get to DLR...do they trade me for a hard ticket.... One that I can carry easy and get FP's?

Yes. Once you get to DL take your internet printed ticket to the turnstiles. They will scan it and give you a small, paper ticket to use for your trip. This is the ticket that you will use for Fast Pass.
Have a great time:goodvibes

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I have a question about this too. Can I only bring the ticket to the turnstile on the day I want to enter the park, or could I bring the printed ticket to the turnstiles on our arrival day (which is a day we are not going to the parks) to get them traded for the real tickets so that I don't have to do that the next morning when we are trying to get through the lines quickly? Also, is it an option for customer service in Downtown Disney to trade the printed ticket for a real ticket?

Thanks for you help. I am trying to save time on our first morning in the park.

The process takes about three seconds per ticket. You are entering the
park when it happens so there isn't any reason to do it early.

PP is correct, this happens as you enter the park, there are no delays. It takes about 5 seconds more for the CM to grab an actual ticket and make the conversion. We did this last year and we had no problems whatsoever.

However, if you still want to get the tickets the day before I do believe you can exchange them, I have not done that so I don't know for sure.
