Internet on AMTRAK

Are you able to access the internet while traveling on AMTRAK trains, specifically on the AutoTrain?

There was no wi-fi offered on the train - if you use a cellular data card or piggy back your laptop to your cell phone that would work. One note to that would be a good part of the trip I did not have cell phone service(AT&T) some of the areas you go through are pretty remote overnight.
