I read that in the rooms you can have internet connectivity for a flat fee ($10 for a 24-hour period), but is that a cost per room or per computer?

What I'm wondering was, is it possible (allowable) to bring a switch so that more than one computer can be on the internet at a time?

It is per computer. I have been in hotels where two of us were trying to us the internet. The second person would have needed to purchase their own 24 hours.

I'm just wondering, how many computers do you travel with? It's a vacation after all.

If you are asking me we usually have 2 computers with us. One for work, one for everything else.

We were able to use a pocket wireless (not in disney - another hotel). We plugged the pocket wireless router into the main line, then ran 2 laptops off of it. What it did was verify the router, not the computer - as it would seem as though a computer was hooked up to it, but it was our wireless device. It gave the 'ok' to the wireless device, which sent a signal to both computers for us. Not saying it would work in Disney, but it did at the marriott!

Thanks! Thought I'd ask before adding the switch to my computer bag.

We'll be traveling with two computers as well. One work and one for play as well.

We had two computers with us last trip and we were only able to be on one at a time due to having to use the cable attached to the wall - the price was 9.95 per day and it didn't matter which computer we were using.

This will work at WDW too. We have done it. Just be sure to secure your wireless connection with a pw or you will have others at the resort trying to leach off of it. I had several attempted logins from strangers but my pw kept them out.
