Internet for DVC member on cash

Do DVC members get internet free on cash stays as well (used AP so not through Member Services). If I'm charged while using it during a cash stay, can I take my bill to the front desk and show them my membership card to get it taken off the bill? Just wanted to know since it's how we will be keeping in touch with the kids on our adults-only trip next month. Thanks DIS'ers!

Only reservations (cash or points) made by MS qualify for free internet access.

It would be considered a non-member stay. Back when I used dial-up, they did not charge members for local calls. But on one trip I added an AP rate for 1 night at the end of my OKW stay and got charged the 75 cents per call for that day only.

The complimentary internet would be for DVC Members staying on points. Members staying on cash are not included. I confirmed this first hand during a stay at AKV. It was non-negotiable, too. LOL.

We stayed for a week at BLT on cash reservations through member services and Internet was complimentary.

Internet is free for stays at DVC Resorts reserved thru MS - both points and cash. If it was reserved thru DRC or by an RCI exchange into a DVC resort it is not free.

No, internet is not free at non-DVC resorts regardless how it was reserved. Free internet is only available at DVC Resorts booked thru MS.
