Anyone download it yet?

I just did and I love it, but I'm having trouble with Cleartype. No matter what setting I pick, it just looks odd.

Then again, it could be my 40-year old eyes.

I downloaded it this weekend. I like it a lot. What kind of problem are you having with the clear type?

It's hard to explain. It's like there's a shadow, I guess.

I downloaded the adjuster tool through MS's website, and switched it around to all of the options, but it's still just not right.

My Cleartype isn't clear. I guess that about sums it up!

Other than that, I really like it! I love the tabs, the phishing tool and the spellcheck being right where I can remember to actually use it!

All in all, I think it's the best update so far!

I downloaded it first a couple of "beta's" back. I also really like it. I actually like the way tabs work better than the way Firefox does them. The complaint about no being able to change your toolbar icons seems pretty frivolous to me. I think it works well.

I'm not sure what you mean by "optimized", but you can customize to tell it what search engine you prefer to use.

I'm gonna try it but I had bad luck with the tabbed plug in for IE6. A program called iexplore.exe would be running and eat up most of the CPU processing unless I terminated the process. Once I disabled the tabbed feature, all is well.

Click Tools, then Internet Options...under the General tab there will be a TAB setting...try that.

Hmmm... I'm running Windows XP. Maybe it has something do with that?

Well, I just tried to download it and then my computer wouldn't go to any websites.....page can't be displayed. I ended up restoring my computer to a couple days ago and it took a heck of a time to get to a website again (had to check something in the advance tab of internet options)

Anybody know?? I have xp...
