After being without internet at home since last Thursday, NTL have finally got round to sending an engineer to fit a new cable modem!
Even then I had to call the broadband technical help line to get the thing working - the engineer didn't pass on the new modem's MAC address so the NTL system was still looking for my old one
All working now though and I've had a free speed upgrade (600 to 750K
)
