Is there any place at Disney that offers free wireless internet? Or maybe lounges that offer it within the resorts? I'm going to be staying at Saratoga Springs and I was debating whether or not to bring my laptop along...

I find it a tad unfortunate that Disney chooses to charge that much for internet access. I paid that rate on my last 8 night stay, but couldn't help but feel I was being 'taken' at that price. I've received free internet access at nice and not-so-nice hotels around the country and was therefore quite surprised at Disney's fee. I don't mind paying for my access, but ~$10 a day is pretty steep.

Is it just me or do others feel the same?

At SSR, did you pay cash through CRO or are you staying using DVC points (yours or rented).

If you're paying cash, the fees would be the same, even if using a wireless connection (which I'm not sure they have).

If you're staying on points, either yours or rented ones, as of 2008, all guests staying using DVC points get free internet service. PROBABLY only in room, and not wireless, but we haven't gotten the actual specifics, so...it could be both.

The only place I've heard of that offers free Internet at WDW is CR Concierge level. There may be more but probably only at club level resorts. Every place else charges $9.95 for 24 hours.
