I think I saw it being offered at WDW somewhere on a site but I can't seem to find it again.

My question is have you used it?
Is the wireless on my laptop what is used or is some thing else needed (cable of some sort)?
And the granddaddy of them all how much?

ntsammy,

That looks like the page I remember, Thank you.

Wireless is not availible at POR so it looks like I need this LAN cable thing.

I am computer stupid so is that all I'll need?

The laptop is a Dell Inspiron 1520, can I just buy this cable and plug it in and go at Disney (after paying of course)?

Mama needs to check the bank and Facebook every once and awhile.

Most units have the LAN, ethernet, RJ-45, cable hanging in one of the closets in the room, if not call the front desk. If you keep the cable they will charge you, if not just leave it in the room or return it to the front desk.

Unless you have a really old lap top the LAN connection should be on the side.

Just got back. $9.95 for 24 hour continuous use. Internet cable is in the closet. I was ther for 2 weeks, inquired about a special rate for 14 days, was not an option. Price is fixed at 9.95 for 24 hours.

Just came back from stay at Contemporary - free computer in room for use as pilot program if you use their computer. If you use your own, and cable provided, $9.95 for 24 hour period (just so when pilot set up they're all set to go? ...:-)...)
