Do any of the hotels or parks offer free (or paid for) wireless internet? I've just got my jazzy new laptop, which has a wireless internet connection, and wanted to know whereabouts the WDW resort I might actually be able to connect. I know that QQI had free wireless in their lobby, but I didn't have my new laptop then! :(

See here http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/Resorts/wireless.htm
This is one of the main resaons we stay offsite. we have just been for 25 nights stayed at Courtyard by Marriott lbv. free inroom wireless very fast connect. £26/night great value.
Disney would have charged me $250 for 25nights connection. We also use 2 laptops so dont know if there would be charge for 2 connections.

Thanks for that. we're not looking for long spells on the net, just a quick log in now and again, although if a hurricane happens to approach, the 24-hr option might be very worth while! lol

If the telephone lines remain active!!

Of course! I was thinking if it was more like it was this time - sat in our room watching tv all day. As long as the phone lines are up, the internet could be a worthy distraction.

Internet access $10 for 15 minutes at the Boardwalk, not sure about any of the others.

There is an internet cafe at Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores called 'World Of Coffee' - $10 for an hour $5 for 30 minutes.

Thanks. Is that wireless though? I'm looking solely for wireless. I'm planning on creating a little mini website that my dad can check in on while we're away that tells him in more detail than a phone call what ew've done that day and so he can see pictures and stuff. So, I have to be able to connect via my laptop. Plus, we're not driving so unless there's a bus to the LBV Factory Stores, I think that's a no-no.

At the Dolphin you could get Internet access via the TV room. I think it was $10.95 per 24 hours.
