Hi all,

Wanted to know if I could bring my laptop, we're staying at the Music and didn't know if they had internet access in the rooms?

Thanks. :earsboy:

All Star Music is not set to have High Speed Internet Access in the rooms until January13, but you can always do the old fashion dial up if necessary. It will cost the same as a local call you just have to make sure you get a local number for the dial up. The Orlando/Kissimmee area is weird in that, just because it has the same area code does not mean that it is local so you have to be careful you are not getting charged for long distance when you sign on.

I wasn't aware that the ASMU had any type of internet access. I asked when I was there in August, and was told only a few of the deluxes and CS had internet access. I would check www.allearsnet.com, they usually have accurate information. There were some very untrained CMs at the ASMU, so you never know if the information was correct.

All the resorts had dial up access until they started installing high speed. The port for dial up is located on the phone.

We'll be staying at the VWL in a few weeks. Reading over on allears, it looks like you have to pay? Even with my own laptop & wireless card, I'll have to pay? I won't be able to go on the 'net as-is?

No free wi fi at Disney. It's either an hourly charge or a daily charge for wi fi and high speed.

You are correct. You have to have your modem cable to connect from the computer to the telephone.
