Internet Access with Wireless

Anyone out there know if there are any open Wireless Access Points in or around Disney property?

I asked and was told no. They don't even have high speed access at the hotels

Disney says no, but sometimes there are open Access Points in the area. Anyone know of any?

It is really upsetting that in this day and age Disney still hasn't added something like this to there resorts. Even the upscale ones don't have any type of internet access...Are there any CM out there who know if something is in the works?

I totally agree! Disney NEEDS in-room high speed internet access NOW!

I understand that it would cost a lot to rig every resort with wireless but the Contemporary simply screams for wireless internet access! If Embassy can do it in a bunch of their center atrium style hotels, Disney could easily do it with the Contemporary!

No wireless, I am attached to my computer and if they had it I would know. You can access through a dial up account, and the Swan and Dolphin have free high speed internet in the rooms...

Disney does not want you in your room surfing the net. They want you in the parks spending money. They don't have pay per view movies and just about every other hotel in the country has this! LOL!

Actually I think the place you are most likely to see internet is YC/BC because of the convention center. When convention planners start demanding it or taking their business elsewhere then you will get it.

That said high speed access is not yet the norm in hotels and even when it is there I have had problems. Of course I only have problems in the evening and the "expert" only works at the hotel during regular business hours.
