Internet Access at BCV

Hi everyone.

We have been delighted owners at BWV for the last 3 years. And have just found this wonderful resource.

We are going to BCV in a 1 bed for 5 nights next week and I wish to know if I can access the internet from the room. Alternatively if there is a Business centre or internet cafe nearby. I will have my own computer and would obviously prefer to have access from the room.

A heads up on the cost would also be most appreciated.

We were there this past March and were able to access the internet in our room. You need an Ethernet connection (I think that is what it is called) and a cat 5 cable (if you don't have a cat 5 cable, engineering will bring one up to you).

There is a connection right next to the small table in the living room/ dining room area. You plug in there, and bring up Explorer. A Mickey Internet connection comes up asking if you will pay $9.95 for 24 hours of internet use.... so, if you accept at 8:00 AM on Monday, then your service will end at 8:00 AM on Tuesday and another popup will come up asking you to assept the charges for another 24 hour period. You can wait to accept this whenever you need it, so that you can make the best use of a 24 hour period.

It worked well on our last trip, because there were 3 of us that needed/wanted to get on the internet. And, it's high speed! It ended up costing us $50 which is high, but I didn't mind spending it, because we split it 3 ways. Hopefully, someday, Disney will make it cheaper...because, there is no way we were going to be on the internet for the whole 24 hours, we probably only used it about 3 hours of the 24!

Hi,
You can also get wireless internet access by Stormalong Bay too.
I used this in May and sat in the sunshine whilst listening to my favourite UK radio station over the net..!!
