International phone call help needed

I want to call my niece while she is in Spain for the next 4 weeks. We don't have an "international plan" with our company...arent' "codes" or something you can put in to utilize another service on a "per call " basis instead of signing up for a plan? THanks.

Are you looking for some "special" way to call, or just the way to call from your home phone?

If dialing from home dial 011 plus the country code for Spain (you can find that in the front of your phone book) plus the number.

Sorry, what i mean is just dialing direct does not work because with our company (Optimum online) you MUST sign up for an "international plan" in order to even make the call. I need a way around my company. I'm only going to make a few calls so I don't think signing up for a whole new plan is the way to go. Thanks!

I think you should google Skype and look into using your computer instead.

Try an international calling card or try dialing the operator and seeing if they can connect the call for you.
