We have a Fireworks cruise scheduled from Yacht Club. Extra Magic Hours are currently scheduled for Epcot this night, with all other parks closing at 9. Will we be able to get back into Epcot through IG after the cruise since World Showcase doesn’t participate with EMH, or should we plan to find an alternative to get back to our hotel? Can we catch a resort bus to another park after that park has closed?

Not sure about nighttime EMH, but when we stayed at the yacht club we were able to get in through the IG during morning EMH. Nothing was open in world showcase, and it was basically roped off that your only path was to walk to Future World from there.

That is incorrect.
World Showcase IS open for PM EMH.

But, even if it did not participate, the IG would still be open for entering and exiting guests if Future World was open.

Thank you Robo. I didn’t think that part was open with EMH. I learned something new! We are staying at GF this time so not convenient to Epcot for ease in transportation. Thanks for the help!

It is a common misconception that World Showcase does not participate in PM EMH-it is actually our favorite time to tour WS-real "laid back vibe".

Another option would be to head over to Hollywood Studios from Yacht Club dock and catch a GF bus there(with a 9:00 PM close at DHS,buses will run until the Park is totally empty which will be at least 11:00 PM.).

And you won't have to go through Security at IG using that method.

MY BAD- I thought you were looking for transport BACK to GF from Yacht Club.

It "may" be possible to catch a bus from a Resort to a Park after that Park closes,BUT many times a bus coming back to a Resort FROM a closed Park WILL NOT be going BACK to that Park so it is a very IFFY thing to try.

I didn't think it would go to a park after close either. But, if push comes to shove, and you're trying to get from Yacht - GF, then you can either go to Disney Springs, which is open till late, and bus hop to the other resort. But, if Epcot has EMH, then I'd probably go through the IG, make use of the EMH, and then monorail it back to the TTC, swap to the other monorail, and head to the GF.

I think I figured out the "confusion"-I should have specified you would need to walk or FriendShip(depending on the time) from Yacht Club to Hollywood Studios to catch a GF bus.

(Also there are no buses from Yacht Club to DHS anyway-walk or boat only.)

I would not do that.
DS bus transportation is infamous for inexplicably long delays in getting back to your resort from there.

Or you could just exit out IG, walk to BC and then uber to GF. For $10 that would be my choice.

Even if you enter Epcot through IG after your cruise, you could still walk out the front entrance to the bus to GF if you wanted to avoid the Uber/Lyft. I would think that would still be less hassle than trying to take an intermediate stop somewhere.
