We will be resort guests at Disney’s Port Orleans and we will have a car. We would like to enter Epcot via the International Gateway. Is there any way to drive and park so we can do that? Either via walking, or parking somewhere to take the Skyliner? Thanks!

The only place you will be able to park and take the Skyliner would be Hollywood Studios.

You can park at Studios and either take the Skyliner, the boat, or walk to Epcot.

So parking at other resorts is not allowed? Sorry, this will be our first time driving around WDW in a very long time. My kids loved Trattoria al Forno last time, and I had considered breakfast there, and walking into Epcot from that entrance. Also never experienced the Skyliner, so that would be an option from HS (but not from Caribbean Beach, for example)?

Studios is probably the best best for you!! This past weekend, we wanted to visit Hurricane Hanna's and were told we had to park at Boardwalk instead of yacht club. Also said it was only 3 hour parking (though I am not completely sure if that is enforced as we could park anywhere). So sometime and some resorts can be picky about non guests entering the resort area. I think this is hit or miss

It's pretty convenient to fly from DHS to International Gateway during the day.

You're not trying to rope drop, are you? Depending on your dates, Epcot might be open earlier than DHS and put a monkey wrench in your plans. (You could also walk from DHS to the International Gateway, provided you could park at DHS before the Skyliner was running.

You can also park at Swan and Dolphin - from what I’ve heard they charge you to park but then there is no issue with them towing you if you leave for a park

This is super helpful, thank you!! I have to double check opening times.

Please consider if you will be heartbroken if Remy is down. If you will don’t do it.

I don’t get the push for Remy. Rope dropping Frozen will save you almost as much time in line and it doesn’t go down as often in the morning. Remy goes down pretty often so if it’s down the morning you go, you will lose your rope drop advantage as those rope dropping from the front of the park will beat you to all other rides.

I don’t get the need to use the IG when it makes you go out of your way, go to another park first & then take at least 20 minutes to travel to Epcot after that. All to save 5-10 minutes in line? Because if you’re at the middle to beginning of the line at the front entrance, you’re still gonna be fine. 🤷🏻‍♀️. Just take Disney transport to the park.

If you have a ressie for breakfast then yes, they will let you park there....

If you're rope dropping, I feel like the easiest plan is just a Lyft or similar to Beach Club. But if it's later in the day, the DHS / Skyliner plan is the most fun.

As long as you don’t mind the trek back to your car at Studios when you’re tired at the end of the day.

Remy being down a lot at opening is of concern. I planned to use the IG as well for Remy. Now I don't know. Glad I am informed now. Anyone know why it goes down for?
