International Gateway and France

In 2014 we stayed at the beach club and entered through the International Gateway. I though that I could head over to Boulangerie Patisserie at 9am. I was turned away by a CM and was told it doesn't open until 11. Did this change after the remodel? I just reallyvwant to try a few items that always seem sold out by the time I get there.

It's been open every day at 9AM for a long time!

I'd suspect an uninformed CM until I hear otherwise.

France/Les Halles is open at 9:00a. You can't venture beyond France.

Thank you. I told the CM I was only heading to the bakery and then off to future world but she said I couldn't enter at all. I'm guessing you are right and she was just uninformed. I will be tryingbagain on our next trip.

That's really odd, so I also go with the uninformed cast member or something anomalous was happening back there that morning. I was able to go to Les Halles just after park opening a couple of weeks ago and I know they were letting guests head that way as recently as last week.

As stated above, things have changed since December 2014. You can now enter through the international gateway and go right to Les Halles for breakfast at 9:00 am.

During the summer of 2014 I read on these boards about going in to the bakery at 9. I never would have known otherwise. I was just making sure they didn't stop letting people in. Thank you all for the replies

In addition to the QS in France,the Merch Shop adjacent to the France QS,World Traveler,the Joffrey's kiosks and ALL of Norway open at 9:00 AM.

Also,sometimes the carts in UK and Canada will open early.

They only opened at 9:00 for a short while when FEA debuted. They've gone back to the regular 11:00a opening.

If you aren't Valet parking at an Epcot/Boardwalk resort, you would have to park in the Epcot lot and enter the park through the main entrance.

There is no parking specifically for the IG.

The gateway and bakery at France were open at 9 last time we stayed at the Beach Club, which was August 2013. Seems odd they would stop and then restart the early open time? Sounds more like a one day problem or uninformed cast member to me.
