International Drive

We are going to Orlando for our Spring vacation. We are going to be there 2 nights before we go on a 7 night Eastern Carribean Disney Cruise. Then we are staying 4 night at Coronado Springs. The question is where to stay for the 2 nights before we cruise? I would like to be on International Drive, but I want a hotel with shuttle service from the airport. We want to do some shopping before we cruise, so somewhere on the I train route would be perfect. Also, I am sort of a freak about where I stay, that's why we love Disney. Any suggestions?

I would suggest the south of Sand Lake Blvd. The Wyndham Orlando is on the corner of I-drive & Sand Lake. There is also a decent Holiday Inn on Universal Drive (back side of I-drive). There are 2 Embassy Suites at that end of I-drive too.. just stay away from the Metro Orlando.. it is next to to the Radisson.. it is not all that great.
