International Dinner and IllumiNations Dessert Reception

So have you been?? Do you recommend it?? Any pics of the food or the event that you have would be great!!! I am scheduled for my family in Dec but am not sure as I have never heard anything about it except from the CM on the phone!

It was...."okay" & sorry no pics. We went with a very large Grand Gathering group, which was actually a bunch of our cruise friends from the Disboards. The service was baaaaad. I got my Coke when I had long since finished my meal. The food was alright, but nothing that stood out as outstanding. The "show" they put on was a bit obnoxious with a lot of shouting about who was there celebrating what. The desserts were served over in the private viewing area by the gift shops between the Uk & Mexico & that was really nice. The desserts were delicious & was nice having the roped off private dining experience. Glad we did it once, but I wouldn't do it again.

We really enjoyed it there was 7 of us friends met here on DIS ! It's really fun for the kids! If you like the different foods you will love it ! The kids selection is great also! I have pics have to see if I can remember my PB password lol! Haven't been on there since last summer lol

We enjoyed it overall. The food was just ok. My niece really enjoyed the activities for the kids and character interaction. The dessert buffet was much better than the food and the view of Illuminations was great. I'd recommend it, just don't expect the food to anything but ordinary.

Yes this is a grand gathering event. I have never done it or heard much about it so I am looking for any feedback I can get!
