International College Program!

Heyyy Guys!
Im sure most, if not all, of you guys and gals are doing the regular College Program, but I figured I'd just pop in and say Hey! I applied for the International College Program (Im from Vancouver, Canada) and that last interviews in Canada finished up today (We do phone interviews and then if you get past that step, you get a face to face interview) and we just finished up those. And NOW! We are eagerly awaiting our results! Which will be coming any day now, no later than Friday apparently. So nervous and anxious!

That's really exciting! Is it a lot more competitive for ICP's to become part of the program then? I really don't know anything about the process. What sort of roles can you apply for?

I'm not entirely sure if its more competitive, but it seems so! Because people I know who have applied to the CP, applied when the applications opened 3 weeks ago, then had just phone interviews and have been accepted a week ago almost. So the entire process took only 2 weeks to get in! For us (Canadian ICP), I applied in August, I found out then wanted to have a phone interview in September, I had the phone interview mid-October, then we find out if they want to have a face to face interview. They have the face to face interviews in 3 cities (Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal), and if you don't live in one of these cities, you have to travel to one of them at your own cost. And after all the interviews are completed you then have to wait a week or so to find out if you are in or not. So the entire process for me will have taken about 6 months from applying to getting accepted or rejected! I dont know how many people apply, but only 1000 of those people get phone interviews and then from those 1000, 200 people got invited to face to face interviews and then anywhere from 100-130 (estimate) get hired! So, you guys have it easy I think! lol

The roles we can get placed in are: Quick Service Food, Full Service Food, Merchandise, Operations, Lifeguard, Recreation, Character Performer (not face characters tho), Character Attendants, Resort Bell Service, Housekeeping, Custodial and Costuming.

Just found out today! Got accepted into Quick Service Food and Beverage!!!
