Hey, this is my first post on the college boards after lurking for a little while :goodvibes

My name's Izzie, from Aberdeen in Scotland. Im 20 and studying media/publishing - hoping to get into some sort of event planning career in future. Last month I applied for the international college program and I got an email today saying that im through to the next stage of the application process - informal telephone interview!

I was worried I wouldn't get through to the next stage as I will be graduating the very start of that summer, on different websites it said different things - one said I had to be returning for another year others said it would be ok to apply for this if i had just graduated. Im guessing that it will be ok though since i got through the first stage.

I'm really hoping Im lucky enough for this opportunity to spend a summer in WDW.
Does anybody on here know what I can expect from the telephone call? Im guessing the applications and things would be similar to regular CP? Or is it totally different!? oooh I have so much still to figure out!

Good luck Izzie - are you going through Disney or Yummy Jobs?? I applied to the Cultural Representative Program and just got notified the face-to-face interviews will be here in Ontario at the end of October. I made it through the phone interview two months ago with Yummy Jobs for Canada. I'll be doing the one-year program at Epcot, hopefully starting early in the new year. The phone interview was easy, just smile while you're talking and be yourself. I'm not in college, so have to do the one year program (which is fine by me!). I'm an old person though (40), having my mid-life crisis and can't wait to work at Disney for the year - I go at least 3-4 times a year as it is, so I might as well work there!! My family is behind me, they know it's my dream and they'll visit often.
Hope you get to live your dream too!! And enjoy your trip next month - I just returned two weeks ago from a two week family trip and had a great time!:goodvibes
