International Calling cards....

We are being picked up from the airport by a private shuttle but want to purchase an international phone card. Are they readily available as we get off the plane so as to not make the driver follow us to a store amd what?

Are they available in the train station at Disney?

Are payphones easily found? I think I cannot use the room phone with an internation calling card at the Sequoia without incurring large fees correct?

I think you will struggle to get one at CDG airport as from what I remember there arent any shops in arrivals. Could you possible get one from the airport before you leave?

There are loads of pay phones dotted round the park - usually near the restrooms but be warned some are in very noisy areas so not very easy to use. Some are phone card ones and some are coin operated.
Cityhall will be able to advise you if you are having problems - there are some close to City Hall which we used that were in a quiet area

I don't know about shops to buy phone cards - but as I sit here my mom is saying they have AT&T cell phone service and paid $5/month for international roaming - when they travel they just turn it on or off as needed. I don't know if that includes everything and you probably know much more about it but might be worth looking into if you haven't already done so.

I didnt know that I could get them here.....we are leaving from John F. Kennedy. I though I had to wait until I get to Europe

ATT does have that service for $5.99 a month but it also will cost (I believe) $1.29 per minute also....and texting is also expensive..... It seemed easier to just get an international card for my girls to call home with....

Ive no idea if you can get them from JFK or not it was just an idea as you will probably have quite a bit of time at the airport so it will save hunting when you get to france
