Interior corridors?

Not a silly question. SSR and OKW do not have indoor corridors. BWV, BCV, and VWL do.

"No question is ever a stupid question....it's stupid when a question goes unasked!" The only DVC's that do not have indoor corridors are OKW & SS----- BCV, BWV, VWL all have indoor corridors....some you have to leave the main building after check in, and go outside to get to the Villas, but once there....it's an indoor trip!

It is true that SSR does not have traditional interior corridors like most of the DVC properties. They are, however, protected from the elements and are partially enclosed. We stayed in the Paddocks section, directly behind the Carousel bus stop at Christmas and thought the building entrances were just fine. They aren't at all like the ones at OKW...those are totally exposed to the wind, rain, and the bugs...I really disliked that the outside room light was on every night at OKW, which attracted all the moths and bugs....ICK! At SSR, this isn't the case, which was nice. I wish I had a photo to show because I know I am not explaining this well...sorry! Basically, once you get to the elevator upon entering the building you will be covered completely overhead and there will be walls on both sides, except for the occassional open window like section, which allows for a breeze.

Hope this helps...I do wish I had a photo to show you, but the only one I have is of the door to our room when we stayed at SSR.
