Recently bought a new (to me) car. It's in good condition both inside and out. Runs great! My old car was starting to nickel and dime me, so it was time for a new one.

The seats are cloth-like material (not leather). They have some stains on them, like water or something else may have spilled.

Any suggestions on what to use to try to clean them up and get the stains out? If I get them out, can I use the fabric spray (like you use on furniture) to protect against other liquid spills or stains?

Thanks for any ideas!

Try Folex on the cloth. You can buy it at Lowe's. It's a great stain remover. We used it on our "plush" fabric seats in our CRV before we sold it. It got everything out for us, even on the fabric-like ceiling.
