Interesting Waitlist Story

I had to post this because of all the threads about waitlisting and stalking. Today, I made reservations for mid February at KV. I was looking for a 4 night stay but they only had 3 consecutive nights when we wanted to go so I waitlisted the night before and the night after the 3 consecutive available nights. I intended to stalk as well as waitlist to make sure I had the best chance of getting that 4th night. An hour later, I noticed on the DVC website that the reservation was not listed so I called MS and asked them why the reservation wasn't there. They told me that the website was having issues and they would fix it promptly. Then she said "by the way, one of your waitlists came through so we will merge the 4 nights together and that will show up on the reservation". WOW, a 1 hour waitlist success story? I've had success with both stalking and waitlist but never had this happen. By the way, the CM that helped me was Jasmine at extension 331 and she was awesome.

I waitlisted Concierge right at 11 months when I had gotten up to book it and it wasn't available. I'm also west coast and do NOT get up at 5am so back to bed I went. I had an email waiting for me when I got up - the waitlist had matched and been completed in the time I was finishing my peaceful slumber.
