I've just seen this article on Inside The Magic that outlines some new ticket options that Disney have mentioned in surveys given out to guests.

Some recent guests to the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fla. and the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Calif. have received surveys from Disney surrounding possible future theme park ticketing options.

Ticketing varities and special experiences Disney is considering for both resorts include:

Partial Day Ticket – Access to theme parks from opening until 3:00 pm or 3:30 pm until closing (between $29 and $49 per guest, per day);

I think other Orlando parks already do this don't they?

Touring Only / No Rides Ticket – Access to theme parks to enjoy everything except the rides and shows with a queue (between $29 and $49 per guest, per day);

Not really sure there would be many takers for that one. :confused:

Disney Theme Park Club, Walt Disney World – Receive a Walt Disney World 7-Day Park Hopper ticket with water park access once per year for 10 years ($2,000 per person, or $200 per year – a savings of more than 50% at current prices.);

Could be a good deal for those who go year after year.

VIP Attraction Add-On – Unlimited use of Fastpass ($150 per person on top of regular park admission, subject to availability.);

This seems to be different to Universal's front-of-line pass and seems like you could pay out for it and still find that you can't get a Fastpass for an attraction that has run out of them.

All-Inclusive Disney Resort (Walt Disney World) – Unlimited food and non-alcoholic beverages, resort recreation (boat rentals, parasailing, etc.), amenities (Internet access, gym, etc.) ($40 – $80 per person, per night. Does not include room rate.);

Not sure how this compares to the various dining plans but could maybe work out a better deal with the other stuff it includes?

So is there anything there that people think they might find useful if Disney were to bring it in?

I don't know. Interesting. The long term tickets over 10 years could be a good deal as that would protect people from price increases for a decade. Good if you go regularly.

There are often threads started by people on the main boards asking about half day tickets so that may not be a bad thing to offer. I think it would increase crowd levels.

FP idea, no way. Disney has always been different in their FP approach in that anyone could use it. I wouldn't pay for that.

I also don't like the all inclusive idea for the resort and food. Based on the price, this is going to be a CS option and you will possibly find they are only offering it in the resort you stay in if they implement this.

Keen to hear everyone else's point of view.

Ah of course! I was reading it as WDW being the resort and thought it was cheap but it makes more sense your way. :blush: Presumably the $40 rate would be for the values going up to $80 for the deluxes.

The 10 year ticket option sounds very good if you go every year, but not sure about the other options.

Dont know why they cannot intruduce if you stay at the resort then this is your fasspass just like Universal. Now that would be a winner.

I would actually like the idea of the fastpass as long as the price is length tickets like the park hopper and water park option.

The hotel capacity at WDW would make the fastpass line a lot longer.

I also like the idea of the 10 year pass - but also have reservations as there are many on here who go a couple of times a year. If they want to do Disney each time then this wouldn't really give them enough days to do this. In fact I don't think it would be enough if you went for a 3 week holiday once a year to be honest.
Looking at the full list it certainly seems like it is aimed at the American holiday maker as they tend to do a week at WDW, as oppose to us Brits who do 2 or 3 weeks.
