On 9/22, the first pin day, I was almost the only person at opening. DH & I were standing at the entrance and the CM was pulling the gate open. Just then, a woman whips in and cuts us off, walking in the store ahead of us. (She had not been waiting outside and was not in sight until right when the store opened.)
Not exactly a crowd. So I just thought she was rude and shrugged it off. She picked out some TDS pins. She didn't buy a full set.
I don't recall seeing her the other weeks. At least I didn't notice her.
But today, DH was with me again and noticed her. And this is what we think is odd.
There was around 6 - 8 of us standing at the TDS door, 5 - 10 minutes before store opening. This woman (from day one) came up and stood right at the front of the door and called inside the store on her cell phone. A different CM just happened to be in line behind us. She acknowledged the woman with the cell phone. The cell phone lady is also a CM at that store.
A fellow CM allowed the CM with the cell phone in the store. Not surprising since she was obviously suppose to start working at 10. (Store opening)
DH saw this CM walk straight up to the counter and remove pins she obviously wanted to buy. (Store not yet open.)
This CM then went in the back room (of the store). At store opening, she came out in a Snow White costume.
Right away she saw the (PT) CM who in line behind us (who was not there working). She told the PT CM to get out of line (and not nicely IMHO). The PT CM explained she was buying the pins for her mother. So she was allowed to stay in line.
DH is really the one who noticed most of this. We just thought it was odd that the Snow White CM was allowed to pull pins out before store opening and then she was giving the PT CM basically what amounted to an order to get out of line to not buy pins. (While in line, the PT CM had mentioned she worked there during the week.)
Why wouldn't The PT CM have the right to buy pins as she was in line just as any other customer? And seemed strange the one was giving her grief when she in turn pulled out her pins before store opening. Which we thought was against TDS policy.
