Interesting note on confirmation....

I received a confirmation for part of my September reservation today (they were supposed to hold it, but whatever....) and they had made a mistake and listed my 1br reservation with 6 guests. For those of you ready to pounce, our actual party is 2 adults, an 11yo, a 6yo and a 2yo (ie. our fifth person is under 3). But I found it odd that on the confirmation slip there was a note saying "no extra towels or bedding provided". So I guess they're trying to be very clear on that point!

I didn't call MS yet to correct it, as I think we covered that on my last call....I went to add the dining plan and they gave me a total for 3 adults 2 children instead of just one child. At that point the cm and I realized there was a mistake on the original reservation...they counted my 6yo twice.

Just thought the note was interesting. I can't imagine fitting 6 in a 1br....its tough with 5 of us even when one is a baby!

On our last trip's confirmation we were listed as having four one year olds instead of one four year old. :scared1:

I deeply respect anyone who can handle quads, but I am definitely not in that category...DS is enough for us! :rotfl:

We had quite a laugh about the mental picture the confirmation gave us.

Let's face it we all make mistakes.

:lmao: that's cute! I can't even imagine it - and then taking all 4 to Disney to boot!

Interesting that they would even "let" you fit 6. Last time I called for a 1 bedroom we had to make other arrangements for one of our children. They won't "allow" 6 on the reservation. when we bought more points and I was pregnant with our 4th child they said it would never be an issue. We would fit just fine with all of us in a 1 bedroom. My children are small in statue and actually with our situation with a special needs child we can't deal with a 2 bedroom yet. Too many opportunities for him to "escape" or lock us out of a room---we already have enough problems with the bathroom! So at this point we are at an in between stage. Luckily we have grandparents that live right near WDW so even though we don't all like to stay with them we can work things out with the kids. I just wish I had a tape recording of our agent telling us that "it won't be a problem" when we bought. :(

Yes, can you imagine!?!? DS is quite a handful himself...but four of him...? :rotfl:

We had called to made a modification to the reservation and had quite a giggle with the MS CM.

I had to provide names & ages for all of us staying in our room in August. We also have had to in the past. How do they make a mistake like listing 4 kids at age 1? Did they all have the same name??

I have to say I'm not sure on this one... I do know I've never seen his name on any confirmation so that info doesn't make it to the printout. I'm guessing the 1 and the 4 just got mixed up in the computer.

We didn't actually notice until I pulled it out to call MS with changes.
