Interesting Matterhorn fact and pics from the park today

While in the single-rider line today, a Matterhorn CM explained that people *think* the TL side of the ride is faster. The truth is that the FL-side track is actually a little longer so it takes 10 seconds more to complete. Never knew that -- I always understood that the TL side was faster. Apparently that's not accurate.

Had a great time at the park today. Was the first in and was the first on PP. Two people from the board approached me today to say hello. This happened about 15 minutes apart. It's always nice when people take the time to say hello.

Okay I have got to know, just how do you get these scores? I have been on the ride a number of times and got some high six digits scores and once went over a million due to a breakdown during the trip, but what targets are you specifically going for that someone may be unaware of? Really appreciate being able to dominate the kids.

Okay I have got to know, just how do you get these scores?

A few pointers:

• Only shoot triangles (10,000 points) and diamonds (5,000 points). Shoot squares only when you have to. Circles? Never. They're only worth 100 points.
• Shoot high-value targets multiple times, not just once.
• Note that lit targets earn multiple points.
  • Triangle: 50,000
  • Diamond: 10,000

Generally speaking, I earn at least 200,000 points before finishing the first room and often more. Good luck!

That's so cool. I'm always kind of bummed when I return from a trip, putting up the TR and have people say they saw me but didn't feel like saying hi to an internet stranger. I've spotted a few people from here/MC which I didn't know in real-life till I walked up and said hi.

That's what I thought! Last Sunday the crowds were actually pretty good. Hopefully this Sunday will be the same.
