Interesting Kohl's email.....

So I ordered 2 of the "Ever After" dolls on 12.06.13. I got notification that they finally shipped and to be honest, I had forgotten about them. As long as they were coming before Christmas, it didn't really matter to me. Yesterday, I got 2 separate emails from Kohl's giving me $25 off coupon codes and they apologized for the item being late. :goodvibes They sent me $50 coupon codes for $20 in dolls! Talk about excellent customer service!

Has this happened to anyone else this year? I'm so excited... we need new pillows and a mattress pad, so now I'll be going to Kohl's! :thumbsup2
 
I got the same email, but I wasn't able to use it online. I will probably end up printing it out and taking it in. I need a new toaster! :)
 
I received the same email on a delayed order and was able to use the code online to get more Kohl's stuff! I will definitely remember their great customer service.
 
I'm pretty ticked with Kohl's again this year. They have hands down the worst shipping every year.

One of my orders (placed 12/03) just finally shipped on 12/15. I never received an email from them like many others did apologizing for the weather delay (please, they have terrible shipping every year). And, no code for me. I'm very unhappy with their service and sent them an email finally yesterday to let them know. No response yet and I'm not counting on getting a response.
 

I'm not too pleased with their shipping either! I ordered a pair of shoes and clothing on Cyber Monday for the student we sponsor for Christmas at DH's high school (and is even one of his students). I did get the email about the weather delay, but no discounts. When the package still wasn't here last Thursday, I found new clothing elsewhere -- and of course, the Kohl's box finally arrived the next day. So now I have to take back the Kohl's items. Grrrrr....
 
I got the same e-mail. The best part for me was that my order was using Kohl's cash from a previous order so I got a $25 coupon for a pretty much free order! (My OOP for the order was about $2 after using my Kohl's cash.)

I had my 4th phone call to Kohl's CS this morning regarding an order I placed Nov 26th that they show in shipped status but it hasn't left the Kohl's warehouse AND a "replacement order just in case" that hasn't moved from "in fulfillment" status since Dec 8th.

I could give you the LONG story, but to date they not only messed up the original order - can't find it, and can't replace the items - but also the replacement order! I could literally walk into the Kohl's store TODAY and pick up the items they "comp'd" me on the replacement order due to unavailability when they tried to reorder, but I refuse.

They told me two weeks ago they were crediting me back for the items on the first order and I could keep them if they arrived.

No credit - no items.

Today I call back - the girl proceeds to say they can't credit me for the items until they can prove that the items were delivered. :confused3 Oh, so if the item NEVER leaves the facility I can't get my money back? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

I ordered these things on Nov 26th-admit something happened, credit me back and for the love of all that is holy PLEASE get the replacement order right. :furious:

I didn't order 2 days BEFORE Black Friday to have them tell me that they are doing their best to have them there no later than 5pm on CHRISTMAS EVE.

I already went out and replaced the items that they couldn't send in the replacement order. If BOTH orders aren't at my door by Christmas Eve I don't even know WHAT to do!??

Oh, no gift cert or anything either...I don't know WHAT is going on.

What would you do?
 
I ordered several items two days before Thanksgiving and received them very quickly. My coworker did the same and got part of her order, but the jeans she bought still had the security tags on them. then she got another box, and there was no ninja blender, but there was a pink rocking horse that talks in the box, that she did not order. She is not a happy lady!

bummer....wish I hadnt received all my Kohls orders so quickly. I'd have loved the extra $25!!

Second year in a row burned by kohl's slower than slow free shipping on Black Friday. One of my items was either delayed or cancelled, the other two shipped but not yet received. I was extremely pleased to find this email this morning. Got my dd some snow pants she needed. Now if they ship and actually get here I'll be happy! My original order should be here today fingers crossed!
 
Ummm... yeah. I posted on another thread about ordering a Kitchenaid Stand mixer, only I got a pillow instead. :confused3 I had to spend 3.5 hours on the phone with 4 different people to get it worked out. What I had was the polar opposite of customer service. Now I feel obligated to shop there so I can use the Kohl's Cash and Rewards points, but can't bring myself to place another online order.

I am on my 3rd call right now to CS about my pre black friday order that was placed on 11-25-13 that I still do not have. I have called twice. The first time they told me it would be here on 12-9 and 12-10. I called when it didnt come and they told me it would be here on 12-16, 12-17 and 12-18. As of today I still havent received it. I received partial shipment of the order and the online order history shows it was all delivered but they claim I am still due 3 boxes of items so I have no idea what is going on. I order online from Kohls all the time and have ordered since then and got the items but this BF order is a total mess. And no I did not get any sorry for your inconvenience email. UGH! I have been on hold for 32 minutes so far with no answer.

UGH - I got hung up on after 45 minutes on hold to get a live person!
 
For those of you who got the email what was the title of it? All the ones I have seen are just about their sales so want to keep an eye out for it.

I got the coupon too and was excited, especially since I accidentally ordered a short sleeved sweater instead of the long sleeved one I meant to get, but of course it was an order with Kohls cash, and I feel like that makes returns a pain....

I'm glad they are doing something. I am disgusted by the number of things I have ordered (from several places) in late Nov/early Dec that are still delayed. Many are several days past their delivery estimate, and I'm lucky to get a "your order was delayed" email. I get it that the weather has been a mess, but I feel like stores and the shipping companies have been using this as an excuse for subpar service. At least a little apology would be nice, kudos to kohls for caring:thumbsup2
