Interesting Info On Disney's Site about Kids and Ordering from Kids' Menu

as long as you order within your allowed credits say 2A and 2C I don't think Disney cares who eats it. I have never seen any food police around telling a child they can't eat that double cheeseburger while Mom eats the chicken nuggets. We ordered some children's meals during Christmas week without having a child in the line (not on DDP) and no one questioned where the child was. It is sometimes much easier for one person to order and the rest to find a place to sit and I have never been asked to provide an adult or child to prove that is who will eat the food. When we go in Sept with free dining if one of children wants something from the adult area I will gladly swap for the child's meal from the oriental station at Seasons in the Land.

Sounds good to me! I'm really not trying to cheat the system, just want to get my kids food they'll eat. It's hard enough eating for most meals for a week. I may need to try a Fort Wilderness cabin in the future, and cook myself...:lmao: well, maybe not...

Does anyone know if it actually SHOWS ON YOUR RECEIPT OR CARD if it's adult counter service and child counter service? I thought it only showed this for table service meals... and that the tally of counter services were just that... a grand total tally....

so if your staying for 7 nights, and you have a family of 4, 2 adults, 2 kids, it just gives you a grand total of guests and a total.

Like 28 counter service meals, 28 snacks, do you see what I'm saying?

Couple of questions on ddp are the now distinquishing between adult and child credits. I know ,many were reporting ordering from adult meals with kid credit because their kids didn't like the kid choices? We also plan on sharing CS meals e.g Cosmic Rays 2 of their combination meals plus a couple of OOP fries or use s.cwould feed all 5 of us can't see why that would b4e a problem. Finallyanyone asked for extra roll with double cheeseburger?

I was there for a few weeks in Jan. The TS meals are sep as of Jan the CS meals were not. I never tried to use them for anything other then what my card said. But with choices so limited, I can see myself getting an adult and a kids meal and sharing it with my kids.

We were there last weekend (Feb 3-6) with 3A and 2C. Resort cards stated this. However, receipts were only separated for TS meals (I signed one for the A meals and one for the C meals). CS meals still handed me 1 receipt with a total number of remaining CS credits listed.

We had no problems with the CS this trip (which was my concern). However, the kids TS menus gave us trouble. They are basically the same no matter where you go. The m&c is a thick, Stouffers style with so much cheese that my 9 yo couldn't eat it. He hated the appetizer choices (either soup w/ celery and greens or veggies/salad, neither of which he'll eat) and got bored with the entrees.

We're debating what to do, as we're already booked for free dining in August. Since it will be a while before any sort of AP discount comes out (if any) for that time frame, I'm going to make TS ressies at places where I can be assured of a better selection of entrees for him (at least until they change the menus again) and we'll sit and wait until something else is offered. Then we'll discuss it and see if we want to keep it or not.
