Interesting Disney Teaser Poster and Web site - "Are you 23?"

Could be, but why would they limit it to people in US and Canada only? That's what makes me lean towards it being about a movie. A fan club would be cool though. Anyone remember the Magic Kingdom Club? (I think that is what it was called.) I used to have a little white card with Mickey on it. It got discounts and such. Membership was something like $20 I think. :wizard:

Dreams, what were some of the other perks with the Magic Kingdom Club? This is the first time I've ever heard of such a club!... Maybe I'm just behind on ALL good things Disney? :confused3

Nah, you're probably just younger than me. ;)

It ended in 2000 I think.
Companies joined and offered membership to their employees for free. My father's company was a "member company" which entitled employees to a MKC card for no charge.

It gave cardholders discounts on purchases at the Disney Store, The Parks, park tickets, hotels, rental car, etc.

It was replaced by the Disney Club. which was a solo membership (not corporate) and cost $40 / year. Members got things like discounts on DL and DW vacations, 10% off on merchandise at the parks, the Disney Store, a member magazine, and special merchandise offers. That's what I remember (as Dad paid for it for a year I think).

Interesting....I registered my email but I am not 23! LOL

Lol, I'm not 23 either! I'll be 22 this year! DBF will be 23 this December though..

I'm liking the fan club idea.....!

I felt special because I registered and I AM 23 ! WOO ! I know, you're all jealous

Oh COUSIN, I just bought Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland and Sleeping Beauty from the Disney Movie Club. I'm pretty stoked about it because I've been watching all of those on VHS (I made rj and jesse get them out of boxes in the garage). Let me tell you people, you have not seen poor quality until you've pulled out the old VHS movies to try and enjoy. It CRACKED ME UP!

I had one too!! I wouldn't mind the DVD's cause I love disney movies! :goodvibes But a fan club is cool too. :thumbsup2

Oh and it probably has nothing to do with your age ;)

I'll be 23 in April...and March 10th is my dad's birthday (very far from 23, lol)! Weird...I hope its not blu-ray dvds...unless its some kind of special package release, and I can get it on sale!

A fan club would be awesome, especially if there was a discount card! :cool1:

Big Thunder Ranch opened in its original version in 1986, then called Little Patch of Heaven. That was 23 years ago. Is there anything special happening with Big Thunder Ranch this year, other than the What Will You Celebrate stuff?

I think the DVD release or fan club idea make more sense, though.
