Interest Thread: DL and DCA Swap (? for WDW people too) GROUPS POSTED

I'm afraid that I'm going to have to sign up for every single group! I've got pictures (tons and tons for them) for each of the things listed! My daughter is excited also... she already has something picked out for the kids group.

Will this swap be an East Coast or West Coast sign up time? (so that I know whether I will have to get up at 4:00 am again to sign up!)

I am in Colorado, so it will be more West Coast than east coast. I am aiming for around 10 AM, Mountain time, so it will be 9 Pacific, Noon Eastern.

I am going to post the Instructions in Post #1, Groups in post #2, so if everyone could hold off on hitting the "Submit Reply" button until after I get the 2nd post, posted, I'd appreciate it!

I did have that "WTH" moment when I looked at the NOS group I was like "she forgot Haunted Mansion!!!! Then I scrolled and then the little person in my head went OHHHHH OK.

Oh Hope will you open additional groups as others fill?

Looks like there are 8 groups that I *have to* be in. I like the way they are set up. Hopefully there will be enough DL/DCA-ers to fill those groups.

I had this same thought...there are alot of WDW peeps on here...But I don't mind being w/the same people in each group at least this will save me time on getting my albums done.

When I put it on the stick Swap Calendar originally, I had the due date the end of April. But I think people want to get as much DL stuff as possible, since we don't usually have DL stuff, and so the number of groups people choose to do might be higher. So I think it will probably be more mid-late May. I might not pick a specific date until after I see how many people sign up, and how many groups people pick. If several people have 10+ groups between pages/elements it will probably be later, if people sign up for 3-5 groups it would probably be closer to the middle of May.

Is there someone who can be my sign-up buddy? I am on the eastern time and I have a huge test at 12:40 so won't be around at 12(I will be driving to campus). If not I will just chance signing up late after class or rope DH into it!

You, and anyone else, can also send your requests to me in advance. Just make sure you list 1st, 2nd, 3rd choices or notes like "any spot in Group C" to make sure I have options for you in case someone else has requested something, or I have picked that topic for myself.

FYI, with the early received lists, I won't be handling them in a "first come, first served" basis. I don't want requests to become a "front of the line" pass. Instead, where there are conflicts, who gets the spot will rotate. So if Person A & Person B both want the same spot in group C and F, person A will get it for group C, and Person B will get it for group F.

So it really is important for people to list 1st, 2nd, 3rd choice spots. (or "any spot in group __")

So yeah, if you already know what you want, go ahead and send me your lists...

I can be a buddy. I will be home at that time. DD can be late to school or something.
