Interconnecting rooms

Right folks - before I bite the bullet and book 2 rooms either at SL or NPB, does anyone know or heard of or experienced an interconnecting room request which has not been granted?

Oooo and while I'm at it, is there anything to know about booking or being there around and on easter weekend?

I've had connecting rooms at Sequoia Lodge, Newport Bay and Santa Fe, they will tell you it's a request and they can't guarantee it, but I've never heard of anyone not getting them.

We've always got them too. I always follow up with an email to the hotel a few days before arrival, as the booking goes live on their hotel system approximately 5 days before.

We have always had joining rooms in the past when booking two rooms but in Nov at the Cheyenne we didn't get them they where next door but not connecting
