While I'm sure they're cool, I still prefer to get a FP. A 3 minute wait vs waiting an hour to see interactive elements; seem like a no-brainer.

We have FP+ for 7DMT so we'll probably run to Peter Pan first thing in the morning, then over to the mine train ride. We'll be able to go through the SB line for Peter and hopefully there won't be too much of a wait. I don't think I'd wait an hour in line just for the cool effects.. but I am glad they are there for those that are going to wait that long.

Standby was @ 50 minutes when I went today. Only waited 30.... Had the room closed off, sent us just passed it back into the main line. Guess I'll try again in the next 3 days before I leave to see if they opened it back up

Got to see it tonight. Posted stand by was 70 minutes dropped to 45 after I put up the stroller. It actually took about 10 minutes. No one else was in line. Guess it helps to do it just before wishes!
