Are Tervis really worth the price? I have seen knock offs at bealls outlet for a pack of 4 for 10.00. Does anyone have a brand that isn't tervis that they like or do I just need to fork over the money for the good ones?

Thanks

Buy the Tervis. We bought the knock offs and they are horrible! Water in between the two layers, warped plastic - just terrible.

Tervis have a lifetime guarantee and are fantastic. We've accumulated about 6 and they are in constant rotation.

Tervis is made in the USA too. They are very nice and worth the price. Sometimes you can get a deal on their website. I got a snowman one for free with my order before Christmas.

Bed Bath and Beyond sells Tervis and you can use your 20% off coupons when you get them.

My Kohls has also expanded their Tervis a little, but not as much of a selection as BB&B. You can use Kohls coupons there too.

I agree....Tervis is worth the price. I also love that you can get a different design on each cup. We have 6 in our family and we each have our own and know which one belongs to who since we each have our own picture on them. Mine is Pooh and Friends, DS is VA Tech, DH is Liberty U, DD has a peace sign one, DD has a polka dot one, and youngest dd has a small Pooh one.

They are awesome cups, they dont sweat onto furniture or counters, they are guarenteed for life! I had one that the seal cracked somehow and got water down inside it. I called them and they said send it in and they replaced it with the exact same one.

I also use the BB&B coupons to buy our Tervis to get a great deal. I would buy one or two at a time. They would be a good idea for an Easter Basket stuffer :)

Tervis can go in the dishwasher, too. Many of the knock off brands cannot.

IMHO Tervis is one of those products it's worth paying the premium price for.

--Microwave safe (non-metallic models, of course);
--Dishwasher safe;
--double insulated;
--Artwork is between the 2 layers so it doesn't get scratched/worn off;
--Reduces condensation;
--Lifetime guarantee.

I have one I bought myself at Christmas time. I used it this past friday. Took it to meeting at 9:30a with coke cola and ice, left in car cup holder until 7:30p that night finally brought it in house and left on counter to wash and got up next am to still find ice in cup. No sweat rings on counter, no cold hands when holding glass, design looks same as day I bought it. DH keeps trying to take mine ( EB is bringing him one).

I also love my Tervis cups. We had bought a set of generic ones at Sams Club and they didn't even last a few months. They leaked, left rings everywhere and weren't dishwasher safe. We upgraded to four 16 ounce and four 24 ounce Tervis ones and have been so happy with them. I've had them for about 18 months now and have never had a problem. They look just as good now as they did when I bought them. And my son has dropped them or knocked them off the counter more times than I can count and they don't ding, dent or crack.

I'm looking to add some more to our collection after our move!

Love my Tervis! My sister-in-law got me a Minnie and a Daisy for Christmas! I put them in the dishwasher constantly, and they are still in wonderful shape!

I don't microwave them anymore. I emailed the company to see if they are BPA free and they answered in a round away way that the newer ones "should" be. I don't think they hold the heat well either and the stain from my coffee will not come out and I have tried Oxy, bleach and everything else.

:) Stick with Tervis. I have given everyone in my family one except for Brother's wife and she gets hers in April for her BDay. Mom-Sweet tea, Dad-playing cards, Brother-Surfing logo, etc. They make great grad presents too. You can get the mascot on one side and then their Name, grad date and initials for the school on the other side. Well worth the price and guys love 'em.

Go with Tervis...hands down.

Bealls also commonly has 25 or 30% off site wide, right now they have $25 off $75. I have ordered almost all of my Tervis from Bealls online.
