Instyler on QVC today...

Thoughts on this? Is it worth it? Does it do what it says? I have medium length hair and have been dying to try this....thanks!

I have thick wavy hair that frizzes a lot here in the Houston weather. The instyler works fine to straighten my hair, but does not curl or create body. I much prefer the result of a round-brush unless I'm trying to go straight and flat.

My hope with the instyler was to be able to get my hair smooth but then flip up or under at the bottome and I can't make that work with this tool.

I have one and I love it. It causes a lot less damage then my chi. Its just not good at getting the little hairs near my face.

I have long hair of medium thickness, with a lot of wave. I was researching the Instyler and came across the Conair Inifity Pro Styler. It was $39.99 when I bought it from Amazon but the price is up to $49.99 on Amazon and $59.99 in Target. Anyway, I love this thing. It's a cheaper alternative to the Instyler and has a blow dryer in the center of it.

It would not be good for folks with short hair, or curly hair, or very coarse hair. It would also not be good for folks with arthritic hands since the handle is very large...like 2" in diameter. And, I have to dry my hair about 80% of the way, then use the Styler, since the hair dryer doesn't have a ton of power.
