Instructions on how to actually use the DP at a Table Service Restaurant

Group: Party of Seven and one infant
Group: One hotel reservation 2 people; One hotel reservation two people and infant; One hotel reservation two people, One hotel reservation one single person.
What: Disney Dining Plan with Table Service

Say we are at Ohana. The bill comes. How do we pay it? Seven adults which covers 4 room reservations.

Does everyone give the server their Magic Band (or phone)
Do I (as the Matriarch and the one paying for everything) give her just my magic band.

Honestly, I don't know how to figure this out.

Once we get this figured out....how does the tip work? Since it's for a party larger than 6, I'm assuming they will automatically add an 18 percent gratuity.

You're overcomplicating it.
They'll ask if your on a dining plan and then when you say yes they'll ask to scan one band from each room.

For tip they hand you a bill and you decide how to pay it.

Guessing you are aware but you need to make all of your reservations for 8 guests even though one is an infant.

You can let your server know how to break up the bill. One band/cc will be scanned for each group on each tab. This is done at the table, they do not take your bands away.

Yes, an 18% gratuity will automatically be charged on each tab. You will have the option to add additional tip if you wish.
