Instructions for posting photos

I need step by step, very detailed, instructions to post photos. I remember seeing them before and now I can't find it. Can anyone point me in the right direction for the instructions?* I scanned a picture last night and it went to snapfish, I'm not even sure how!? Inherited computer, belonged to my Dad and I am very computer challenged. Thanks, Vicki

Since it is an inherited computer it sounds like someone has set it to upload photos to Snapfish by default. I don't use Snapfish myself so I'm not sure if there is anything "different" about using it.

If I'm only posting a few photos, I'll just upload them to the DIS gallery. Photobucket is the other way I do it when I have a bunch to post.

If you want to control where your photos are saved (such as on your computer 1st) I'd recommend using the "Scanner and Camera Wizard" that you can find by going to Start-All Programs-Accessories. Just look at each screen before clicking "OK". My scanner isn't connected right now so I can't write out the full instructions for you. But you will be given the chance to name it & say where you want it.

Hopefully someone can help me as well. I thought I could do it, but I guess I'm not as computer savvy as I thought. Maybe I should ask the 7 year old, she could probably do it

Here's my problem, when I load them from photobucket and then preview my post, it shows the url link and not the pictures. What am I doing wrong? I tried the insert image button at the top and it didn't work, then I also tried it like this:

I just clicked on the "IMG Code" (the text is actually a link) and then clicked <CTRL>+<V> over here.

The only other thing I can think of off-hand is maybe you don't have enough posts to include a photo? I forgot to check your count before replying...unless your Photobucket account is private? Mine isn't so I'm not even sure if you can do that.

I think I got it, I posted on the Mickey head from Home Depot thread and was able to post those fine. Although I did it the same way I did last night (ok, it was this AM at about 2, darn DIS borads keeping me from getting sleep .) I don't know maybe it's the computer, but willing to bet that it's the user
