Instructions for neck bands?

Does anyone have instructions for the cooling neck bands, the ones you soak in water and they stay cool? I know they're filled with silica gel, but I'm not sure about the size and other details on how to best make them. I've been searching but can't find directions, just people that have bought them. Thanks for any info you can give. You guys rock!
