Hi.

I went to place my order today for September 7 to BWVs from Instacart Publix and Publix Alcohol and it only gives me a date to choose up to September 1. Is this normal and do I need to wait until next week to place my order? I just wanted to get it done and over with while at work this week.

Thank you.

I believe that you can only order around a week ahead of time unfortunately.

5 days in advance only I think - don't worry, tons of delivery slots, even same day. Watch out on the alcohol- Disney will turn it away if you are not there to sign for it. So if you are delayed, or they cannot contact you, your whole order will be returned. Disney have really tightened up on this. The Speedway garage is a very easy 5 min walk from Boardwalk Lobby for large selection of cheap beer.

Completely normal. The window you can choose from is today plus 4 days (so for orders today, you could have delivery on September 2). I typically place my order a day ahead and have plenty of time slots to choose from.

Thank you all very much. I hope I don't have to go to Speedway for cheap beer LOL so I will make sure (and hope) my delivery
time will give me enough time to land, get my luggage (don't want to give it up) and get on ME.

Thank you all so much. I feel better knowing it isn't me LOL

You could place the order when you land and choose a window roughly 1-2 hours later.

When my shopper started shopping it opened a chat session and I was able to communicate with her. We let her know we landed and would meet her at Bell services and she was able to tell me when she was on her way (about 20 minutes ahead of my delivery time but she offered to wait if that didn’t work for us). You could use the feature to let your shopper know when you will be at the resort so they don’t rush if you’re not ready to meet them.

Hi and thank you for this information. Do you think I should order it and then in the "Notes" section add my flight information and
when I am suppose to land? I am suppose to land at 3:15 pm and we are staying in BWVs. I have Beaches and Cream for 7:50 pm. So, I
guess I would really want delivery between 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. What do you think would be my best option? Order prior and get the
exact delivery time I want between 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm or complete my order when I land? Your post was very helpful. Thank you.

Great information... One question since this will be our first time trying Instacart for Publix...

My flight lands around 7 PM (after a long 5 hour flight). How late will they deliver? Can I order and just have it delivered to BWV earlier in the day? We will not have any alcohol in our order. I am thinking I want to order for a little earlier so it will be there, but I guess I could order as soon as we land and touch base while on DME. Just not 100% sure how to do this.

It can’t hurt but they probably don’t have any use for flight info/ time- it’s more useful if they know when you expect to be at the resort.

Delivery time choices are 1 hour slots (so 1-2 pm, 2-3 pm and so on). In your case I’d pick 6 pm-7 pm because you’re sure you’ll be at the resort by 6 and if the delivery comes at 7 you have plenty of time to stop at Bell services to meet the driver. Bell services can hold it until you’re back from Beaches & Cream (Bell services may bring it to your room without you there but there are a lot of varying results for that).
