Inspired by wvjules - Are You a Yeller?

Raising my hand here. When I get angry or frustrated, I yell. I come from a family of yellers. My mom tells me that she would think when SHE was younger "When I have MY family, we won't yell like this."
I probably said the same thing.
But I do, and my kids do too. My DH is not a yeller. How he puts up with us, I will never know.

Nooooooooo! I hate yelling! But -- I tend to raise my voice if someone raises their voice at me, until I take a deep breath and get myself under control.

Yep. It runs in my blood, Italians are yellers by nature, I think.

DH never yells. I have never seen a more calm indiividual than my husband. I've known him 25 years and I have never seen him yell, not even once.

I am and like Snoopy's DH, my DH is not. He will change is voice a bit & I'll say "don't yell at me!"--because, for him, that is a yell. He's very calm and I am not. I really try not to yell because DH doesn't like it at all. No yelling, no crying. But my oldest sisiter has me beat. I bet she has everyone on this whole thread beat. Someday, she may self-destruct!!

yes, I am but I've been trying to change for the past 22 years...my DM is a MAJOR yeller and I couldn't stand it...so now...I take deep breaths, and implode everyonce in a while! LOL
