(inspired by Wishydoo) What's the speed limit on the road you live on?

Ours is 25. Most drive the limit or slower as it's a Dead End Street!!!

Ours is posted at 25 mph....although the young adult and his friends (older than teenagers, early 20s) think it is at least 40. One of these days I will be taking that issue up with the police department as he drives much to fast for our street. Ironically, a lot of our neighbors have "mentioned" it to me because they know I won't just sit back. This driver also must suspect I'm on to him because now if I'm out front, he'll purposely slow down in front of my home and wave to me.

In the meantime, I will keep my children even closer to me to make sure they are safe.

My street is a private way so there is no speed limit. The street we are off of is 30, but should be(and may possibly become)less.

It is 35, but you would think people think it is faster. Luckily the police like to sit along the stretch of road.

The street that our house is actually on is 25. The street behind our house is the tollway and it's 65!!!

Ours is 25, yet most fly at about 40 and because they apparently dont SEE the dead-end sign!

Ours is the last house, but there's an empty lot after us, then it dead-ends at a stone wall. As fast as some folks fly by my house, I am utterly dumbfounded that no-one has actually hit this wall (yet?)....however, lots of them do leave burned rubber in the road from both stopping too hard, and turning around and screeching off because they're annoyed with themselves.

35 but the drivers around here must think it is 55. Right as you pass our house you go over a small hill, just as you top the hill the road curves to the left. They put a guard rail in the yard of the house in the outside edge of the curve about 4 yrs ago, because so many ended up in their yard. They had to repair it at least 6 times since they put it up.

It's probably less than 25 because pretty much the only people that drive on our street are the people that live here...and there's usually kids playing in the street.
