We are going to be there for Christmas Day this year (first time for that day). I really want a special dinner. What have been your favorites?

Well for our mum/daughter (I'm the daughter) Christmas Day 2003, we did Chef Mickey's for breakfast and V & A for dinner.

Breakfast at CM was a lot of fun, very happy atmosphere. It was a lovely way to start the day. They were offering a brunch buffet which had extra stuff on it, even though it was early morning.

We walked from MK to CR, and saw the HUGE crowds heading into the park. We were glad to be headed the other direction :rotfl:.

V&A of course is more an adult experience, so if you have kids then it may not be what you are looking for. That being said, it was the best meal I have ever had in my life and to be there on Dec 25th was something special.

I think the Grand Floridian is beautiful, especially at Christmas. Perhaps one of their restaurants would be nice for you?

We always eat a late breakfast at Boma (used to do Spoodles until they changed their breakfast menu) and pick one of our favorite locations for dinner. We have eaten at:

• Artist Point - great meal, SLOW service that night :confused3
• Yacht Club Galley Buffet - good selection, sometimes rushed for the holiday buffet :hyper:
• Le Cellier - what can I say :goodvibes
• Rose & Crown - very festive atmosphere and service :drinking1

This year we have not decided on a dinner location, but I am leaning toward Artist Point again. We will be staying at WL so that seems perfect.

What about CRT for Christmas dinner? Come on folks! More than a few have to have eated Chrismas dinner at Disney!! :goodvibes This will be our first Christmas at Disney and we want to make it extra special. There will be 10 of us....7 adults, 2 teens and an 8 yo.

Christine --

We have eaten Christmas Eve dinner at CRT, but we never go into the Magic Kingdom on Christmas Day. Even if you have a PS (or whatever they are calling them now) you are not guaranteed entrance to the MK if it is closed due to crowds.

All that being said... I think it would be a great place to eat on Christmas Day, if that is where you plan to be! :goodvibes

Thanks Elin! For some reason I thought that resort guests were "guaranteed" entrance to the parks. Is this not correct?
