Yup, that's the next round. "Any wedding bells in DD's future?" to be followed by "Any sign of grandchildren yet?"

What's next? Probably "Are YOU still alive? When are you going to die, already!"

People are just nosy, in general. It doesn't matter whether you are married or not, or have kids or not, they'll find something totally personal and inappropriate to ask you about.

Since I already have 3 kids, I get "You aren't having any more, are you?"

On the flip side, people also volunteer all sorts of personal things about themselves, whether I indicate any level of interest or not!

I have learned about all kinds of health issues and marital problems that plague various acquaintances and coworkers - waaaay more than I ever wanted to know!

I suppose they figure that since they are so forthcoming with their private lives, it's reasonable to ask personal questions of others. Or they just have no sense of boundaries.

I'm sure I've posted things online that are too personal, and goodness knows I've read things online that are too personal.
