I could kill in a heartbeat to save my own life or the life of a family members if I'm ever put in the situation from criminal actions. In the case of Saw though, I dunno. I certainly never want to face a situation like that.

Nope. He was just laying there with a key to a mask in his stomach (he was drugged and forced to swallow the key I believe). If she didn't kill him and cut out the key she would have died.

I don't know if I could do that, just for the level of ick in cutting out a stomach, but if someone was trying to hurt me or someone I loved I could kill in a second.

I have no idea if I would be able to do it. I know I'd want to live but not sure if I could kill another person to do it. However, if it was to save DD's life there's no question the other person would die.

BTW, they're making a Saw 2. It's suppose to be much better! I'm super excited about it too. I love these movies, but that's exactly where they need to remain, IN THE MOVIES.

Yeah, I saw the preview for that when I went to see Serenity, I was whimpering

The original Saw was pretty hard for me to watch and I love horror movies. I might wait to see Saw 2 at home, where it's safer you know.

As for the OP, I don't think that I could have gone after the key.

Yikes!!! I think I'll miss this movie
I don't think I could in this situation unless things got really desperate but if they were going to hurt my family or myself, I wouldn' think twice about it!

I never saw "Saw." Looked horrible to me! Even the trailer for "Saw 2" creeps me out. I'm always afraid some psychopath will see movies like this and get ideas.

I don't think I could do it, especially cutting open the stomach! Yuck!
