Just a fun thought...if you had gotten a tattoo at 13 what do you think you would you be permanently inked with??


I was 13 in 2001, so I would probably have some ridiculous homage to Buffy the Vampire Slayer, perhaps a tribute to my beloved neopet 'Hunny_Bunny21' or maybe 'Bootylicious'...that was my favourite song.

I don't have any tattoos now and said I would let my child until the age of 45 but .....

If I had gotten one at 13 it would probably have been the infinity symbol (sideway 8). I was a die hard Journey fan. Not sure where I would have gotten it though.

I was also 13 in 1983, but I guess we were listening to different styles of music because I am fairly confident I would have had something Duran Duran related permanently etched on me.

Ha! My next tattoo will be an infinity symbol with my dad's initials in it!!

At 13 (in 1991) I probably would have gotten my flavor of the week's name on me. As it was, every guy I dated before DH (I met him at 15) - their name started with a "J". So one summer day I carved a "J" into my ankle. Homemade tattoo! Figured I would have it covered no matter who I was loving that week. Wouldn't you know it, 2 months later I met DH. His name is Kevin.

Or, I had a patch on my school backpack that was a frog giving the peace symbol with his webbed fingers. Loved that patch, but so glad it's not on my body!
