Inspired by the Jobs thread...

I have to pay for extra things, like dinner out with friends or games/movies. I paid completley for my own DSi and I paid for half of my iPod. I don't have to pay for school-related trips.

I did earn a lot of money last summer, and I'm planning on using that towards a Disney World trip in January next year.

I'm paying for school all by myself.

My parents pay for my phone, because it's a shared plan and because my mother doesn't remember to take the $20 for my texting.
They also pay for my insurance because they think it's not all that costly.

My dad pays for my phone bill, my car insurance and my groceries.

Everything else I pay for myself like my car payment, student loan payments, any credit card payments that I may have, clothes, etc.

My parents pay for everything now that I'm in college. My mom won't let me get a job, because she wants me to focus on school. If I ever need new clothes or shoes, etc then my mom will give me the money for it, and I'll go buy them. They pay for my tuition and all my books, too. I try to be incredibly frugal with their money though. I feel like I should be contributing something, but my parents say they don't mind (they basically say that they're investing in my future). Nevertheless, I only really buy the things I absolutely NEED.

When I had a job, I would usually buy random stuff I wanted, like bags, jewelry, entertainment, food when I went out to lunch with coworkers, etc. It was just easier that way. I also saved up and bought all of my own souvenirs and such at Disney. They still paid for pretty much everything else though.

I know I'm incredibly blessed to have parents like this. :)

I don't have an allowance or a job (as most places probably wouldn't hire me because of my age). I don't really ever go shopping so no, my parents don't buy my things I would say. Sometimes like, for 'back to school' shopping, like getting a new pairs of shoes or something for school my mom will buy it but thats it. The only time I really go shopping is after Christmas/January because my birthday is less than a month after Christmas so I save all my money from then and buy new things. Usually my parents will buy me, say a ticket to a concert or something in exchange for getting on Honor Roll or something. But usually my mom will buy the tickets and I will pay her back.
My mom pays for my cell phone bill though because it's a like 'shared, family plan' . If my texting goes over I have to pay for the amount the bill goes over though. That's only happened once though and it was my brother's fault not even mine. -_-

My parents more or less pay for most of my things. They pay for most of my clothes, shoes, and beauty products. They also pay my car insurance. If I want something expensive though, I pay for it myself. I also pay for any type of recreational thing when I'm out with my friends. I've only had a job for a few months now but I guess my parents want me to keep saving my money.

I have to pay for everything myself. (Me and my parent's split my car insurance though.) But ever since I have had a job I've paid for my own clothes, movie tickets, concert tickets, gas, and basically everything (hah, I even paid for my own plane ticket to disney). I wish my parents would pay for my stuff :p

I buy my own clothes. I don't go clothes shopping like, every day.

I don't have a job, but my parents make me buy my own gas. That's okay. I let them drive my car so they can get it filled up if they want to be nice. :teeth:

They pay for my car insurance, phone bill, etc.

I'm looking for a job. So this'll change.

For the most part I buy my own clothes and stuff and with my own money.
I have a pretty good job though, it pays well.

Food and car my parents pay for though.
