I need to lose about 45. I was doing great until I got breast cancer back in 2002. Once I started Tamoxifen/Arimidex/Lupron, the weight just started piling on; and no matter what I do, I can't get rid of it. Dieting, exercising, nothing works. :confused3 Even my doctor doesn't yell at me about my weight; he said he knows I can't do anything about it. Another couple of years until I'm done with the meds and maybe THEN I can lose it. I just keep telling myself it's better to be fat and live than to get cancer again......

None for me. I have too high of a metabolism to even gain anything (although my mom told me that would catch up with me when I get older). My cat on the other hand he needs to go on a diet!

When she becomes a mom you can remind her of this. My mom asked me once if I thought she was fat...I told her, "No mom, you're pluffy."

:rotfl2: You're a born diplomat!

My dd ought to be happy she can borrow my clothes! It's surprising how cool some of my uncool clothes have become.

I am also doing Weight Watchers, like ead79 it has been quite a journey. I started the First week of July and to date have lost 47.5 lbs. I only have 2 to go to reach my goal. They come off very slowly now, but I love the way I look and feel now. I really hope I can maintain now that I have lost it. I think I will because I have really rather enjoyed the journey getting here. It was something I wanted to do for me and my family has encouraged me all the way. My teenage DD also went with me and she has lost 30 pounds and looks wonderful. I am soooo proud of her. She has been at her goal weight now for 4 months. One other really fun point has been getting new clothes. I hope the rest of you have real success too. It is one way we can improve our health and over all well being. Keep up the good work ead79 you can do it!!! :cheer2: I am a little worried about eating my way around WDW in July. I will try not to overdo! :thumbsup2

I want to lose 30-40lbs. I am 175 and I'd be a healthy 140ish.

My battle is my food issues. Intentional food deprivation by my caregivers when I was a teen makes any formal diet plan impossible (I gained on weight watchers).

Too many!

I want to know who the freaks are that voted in the poll saying they didn't have any weight to lose. UGH!
