Ok I'll start....

Prelude- Theme music from Father of the Bride (I  that movie )

Bridal party processional- Canon n D (I just think it's pretty)

Brides Processional- Elvis "Can't Help falling in love" (My parents first dance)

Recessional- Dean Martin "Thats Amore" :rotfl: (I'm a dego :lmao: and we both love the rat pack)

entry music-pacobell's canon

candle lighting (done by mom of bride and groom)-wind beneath my wings

interlude-love theme from superman (can you read my mind)

processional out of the chapel-traditional bridal exit music

first dance-wonderful world (louis armstrong singing)

most interesting wedding music i've witnessnessed-

entry music- john lenon's "woman"
exit music-beatles "magical mystery tour"

can you tell they liked the beatles? :teeth: they actualy found replica's of the sgt. pepper's uniforms for the groomsmen (groom wore a white tux)

Bridesmaids came down the aisle to Jesu, Joy of Man's desiring

I walked down to Pachelbel's Canon in D- that song gets me every time

Honestly, I can't even remember the rest. I know Ave Maria was in there too. Maybe a Vivaldi song on the way out? I just know I wasn't walking down the aisle to "Here Comes the Bride" and I just HAD to have Canon.

I wish I could go back and relive my wedding day again..... :bride:
Then the next day I'd be in WDW! :sunny:

wow, you guys are good! I don't remember what mine was. Just normal church wedding music!!

LOL, yea mine was only so unique because I didn't get married in a church, we hired a wedding officiant and bascially wrote the whole cermony with him. and I only remember because it hasn't quite been a year. If you asked DH he's probably say "I don't know :confused3 "

I will see what I remember because it's only been 20 years. I think the organist played Pachabel during the seating. My sister sang "Somewhere" before it started. I think the girls walked down the aisle to "Joy". I walked down to Purcell's Trumpet Voluntary. Although I did not use "Here Comes the Bride", I think we did have the traditional recessional. (DAH, da, da da da da da da...).
We were in a church with a traditional organist so I don't think cool, different songs were an option...like my idea of playing "Chapel of Love'.
Robin M.

We were married at Disney, so we really wanted to use all Disney songs...

Groom processional: Can you feel the love tonight (DH picked this).

Bride processional: Once upon a dream (Sleeping Beauty is one of my favorites)

Recessional: Zip a dee doo dah

Ah, if I remember correctly... Pachabel Canon for mother's seating, theme from Masterpiece theatre, Gift of Love in between readings, Trumpet Voluntary.

Bridal Party entry music-pachelbels canon

Unity candle-The Wedding Song (kenny g)

processional-traditional bridal exit music

Prelude- An assortment of love songs I love- "Come away with me," "If I ain't got you", "At Last,"

Mothers walking in- "Pie Jesu" by Charlotte Church

Bridal Party- "Guide me thou oh great redeemer" by Charlotte Church

Bride Entrance- "Flower Duet" by Charlotte Church

Unity candle- "Unforgettable"- One of my Bridesmaids and the Best Man sang it.

Recessional- "Rhapsody in Blue" by George Gershwin. It is my favorite piece of music ever.

I love all the music I chose. Especially since now, every time I hear any of the songs, I think about my wedding day.

Vivaldi's Spring was in there too.

We had "That's Amore" played at our reception! We love that song!

I do remember our recessional was "The Hallelujah Chorus", followed by the Indiana Jones Theme music, as a surprise for my husband.

Seating of guests: slideshow of pics with various love songs to accompany (tracked with the slideshow)

"In This Very Room" call to worship, sung by children's choir from my church (piano)

Bridal Party entrance: "One Hand, One Heart" from West Side Story (piano)

I can't remember what the moms came into anymore... it was on piano

Me: traditional bridal march (piano)

"I could not ask for more" sung by MOH and Best Man (piano)

"All Love Can Be" from A Beautiful Mind, sung by my sister (a BM) during congregational unity candelighting (piano)

"Great is Thy Faithfulness" congregational hymn after candlelighting

"At Last" Celine Dion version on CD, recessional

I think that's all? =)

No big wedding here:( I wanted it, dh didn't...
anyhow we did have a first dance "Everything I do, I do it for you" from Bryan Adams.

The moms walked in to Finlandia/Be Still My Soul. My processional was "All Things Bright and Beautiful." It was nice and peppy. I had the organist (a friend of DH's) play thorugh his book until I heard a processional that didn't make me nervous.

DH also sang "Let It Be Me" to me.

Bridesmaids walked up to Canon n D

I walked up to Ode to Joy

Unity Candle was to Beginning Today

Communion was Panis Angelicus (my Mother's request)

Recessional was to the Bridal March

I know some of the music that was played while guests were seated: Morning Has Broken (Cat Stevens), Can't Help Falling in Love (Elvis). 2 more that I can't remember. I walked down the aisle to Longer (Dan Folgerberg) I still love that song to this day! What was played during the wedding? No idea anymore. I picked the music but can't remember any of it! Yikes! It was a folk mass, I had a 5 piece acoustic group playing, 2 of the singers were friends of mine.

My first dance was a Lionel Ritchie song called "You Mean More to Me" it wasn't a release at all, but on his album. Since the band that played at my wedding had my best friends husband in it they learned the song just for me!

Second song with parents and bridal couples was "One in a Million You"
