What books make you cry? The only one I can really think of right now for me is Little Women....I just read it last week (yes I'm 26, but I was feeling nostalgic) and cried my eyes out when Beth died.

Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas by James Patterson. I usually read in bed before I fall asleep, but I was crying so hard I was afraid I was going to wake Gene up so I went out to read on the couch.

I also cried at The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold.

Angela's Ashes was very sad and brought tears to my eyes more than once.
Patty Jane's House of Curl made me cry too. I would recommend that book to all of you...it was really good!!! Not sad all the way through.

The Cat Who Covered the World.
The Cat Who'll Live Forever.
And, much like my movies-that-make-me-cry post, Death of a Salesman and 84 Charing Cross Road.

i'm almost embarassed to admit this, but book 3 of harry potter...when they believe that the hippogriff was killed...i tried reading it outloud and couldn't do it!

The Diary of Anne Frank. Reminds me that every single one of the millions of people who died during the Holocaust was an actual PERSON. Just like you and me.:(

Al Gore's book Earth in the Balance!!!!! His stupidty is enough to make one cry!!!
